Reserves lose out to North London    (Sunday 21-June-2009)

Fulham Irish 1-07 North London Shamrocks 1-11

Fulham Irish lost out in this league fixture when the team never really got into coring gear and missed a host of chances to allow North london Shamrocks their first victory in the League.

In a hard fought first half, the teams were even with the half time scores 0-04 each, Ollie McKinley with 3 points and Ciaran O'Kane the scorers for Fulham Irish.

The second half was a lithany of Fulham Irish moves breaking down as continually the final ball was poor. On three occasions a scoring chance from Fulham Irish was turned over with the opposition going upfield to score. The scores came from McKinley and O'Kane with points as well as a point from Cormac Finn. Ryan O'Neill provided the quality moment of the half as he turned his man, ran on goal and banged it to the net. This hope was sort lived however as another breakdown saw North London create a goal chance that they duly took. Fulham Irish attacked relentlessly but again the final ball was poor and the game ended with a 4 point difference between the teams.

As well as those mentioned, Liam Frawley, Robert Den Hartog, James O'Dowd Nolan, Brendan Dolan and Mark McVey played well for Fulham Irish.

Team: P Higgins, A McGuinness, L Frawley, R Den Hartog, F McCann, B Dolan, J O'Dowd-Nolan, C Finn, M McVey, R O'Neill, C O'Kane, K Gartlan, J Doyle(B McCusker), O McKinley
