Tony O'Donovan Memorial Tournament (Sunday 12-July-2009)
At Goodmayes on Saturday afternoon, Fulham Irish, North London
Shamrocks and Thomas McCurtains battled it out for the first Tony
O'Donovan Memorial Cup.
With Thomas McCurtains beating north London Shamrocks in the first
game, the second game saw Fulham Irish beat North London by 2 points,
a late goal sealing the victory. The third and final game was all one
way traffic as McCurtains ran out impressive winners to secure the
cup.
Patrice and TJ O'Donovan presented the cup and medals to the winning
team before everyone there returned to the Plough & Harrow pub in
Leytonstone for the evening. Thanks to all those who made the effort
