Fulham Irish men's teams update (Friday 6-March-2009)
 Fulham Irish GAA Club: The year that is 2009
Here we are again lads, the start of the season approaching, the
anticipation, the enthusiasm, those who have left, those who have
joined.
The barrier was raised high in 2008, a league win, a
Tipperary cup win, Championship semi final, a still to be played
Conway cup semi final, the Reserve team contesting the Reserve
championship final.
Great times had by all but now we move on, into
2009, with new goals and new aspirations.
Team management
Paul Quinn continues in the role of Senior team manager. He will be
assisted by Michael Farry, Brendan Dolan and Martin McGrath.
No permanent management structure has been agreed for the Reserve
team yet but in the interim, Liam Barry and John Doyle will manage
the team.

Senior team
Tipperary cup – starts w/e 4th/5th April
Conway Cup 2008 S/F – Sunday 26th April
League – R1 W/e 9th/10th May
Conway Cup 2009 – midweek 7th/8th/9th July
Championship – R1 W/e 18th/19th July
Reserve team
Murphy Cup – starts w/e 4th/5th April
League – R1 13th/14th June
Championship – R1 1st/2nd August
Training
As in previous years, players should get fit to come to training. As
such, we will not begin training until Tuesday 31st March at the
earliest. We will look to have a get together on Sunday 29th March,
the weekend of the dinner dance for some ball work. At this stage
these early sessions will take place in Hurlingham Park.
